IGPP's Debi Kilb & Judy Gaukel conduct teacher workshop through the TeacherTECH program at SDSC

Through a new partnership between the La Jolla Symphony and Chorus and IGPP's Debi Kilb and Judy Gaukel, a teacher workshop titled "Earthquakes and Music: Exploring Seismic-Waves and Sound-Waves" was held through the TeacherTECH program at SDSC. The workshop encourages teachers of 6th grade earth science classes to experiment with using oscilloscopes as a way to compare sound waves produced by various instruments as a comparison to waves produced by the Earth.
