Time: 12:30 pm, Pacific Time

Note: This meeting will be recorded.

Abstract: The quantity and quality of spaceborne Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) data  has greatly improved since the launch of the first Sentinel-1 satellite in 2014. In this talk, we will discuss how to infer a broader range of properties of the earth’s surface and subsurface from large volume of repeat-pass InSAR data. These newly available satellite observations have opened up new research opportunities in aquifer characterization, carbon monitoring, and disaster management.
