IGPP has just received a copy of the Miles Collection, a five-volume set of Professor John Miles’ (1964-2008) published scientific works. Vitaly Nesterenko and Joe Goddard from UC San Diego’s Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) compiled this collection in honor of John Miles’ contributions to MAE, where he was jointly appointed and served as chair from 1968 to 1972. IGPP’s former director, Guy Masters, donated the funds to purchase the volumes, which will be housed in the Munk Reading Room.
