CNN features Greenbaum, Pelle findings on Increased Antarctica ice melt rate

CNN is featuring the research of Jamin Greenbaum and Tyler Pelle which has determined that glacier meltwater in East Antarctica is responsible for hastening ice loss in "an alarming feedback loop." CNN cited Pelle and Greenbaum's article in Science AdvancesSubglacial discharge accelerates future retreat of Denman and Scott Glaciers, East Antarctica, the result of studies at the Denman and Scott glaciers which found that "meltwater feedback increased the sea level rise from the Denman and Scott glaciers by nearly 16% by the end of 2300."

The findings about glaciers previously considered to be stable is both alarming and reason to factor extra ice loss from meltwater discharge into climate models projecting sea level rise.
