Congratulations to IGPP Professors Yuri Fialko and Dave Sandwell as well as IGPP Green Scholar Dan Bassett.  Their study, "Upper-plate controls on co-seismic slip in the 2011 magnitude 9.0 Tohoku-oki earthquake" was published in the 03 March 2016 issue of Nature: http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v531/n7592/full/nature16945.html
